What’s the Midland story?
Lately, you may have seen the golden block “M” on baseball caps around the Gainesville and greater North Florida region. And it may call to mind a certain championship-caliber university. No one could fault you for that assumption…But to set the record straight, our block “M” represents Midland Baseball, and we’re here to make a mark in North Florida and beyond.
Midland Baseball history dates back to 1966 when Joe “Papa Joe” Haden Jr. founded the organization, known then as the Midland Redskins. Today, Midland has grown to include 6 chapters across 6 states, as well as the National chapter with teams ranging from 7u to 18u. Midland North Florida is honored and excited to carry on the tradition in one of the most competitive baseball regions in the country.

Player Development
As a player progresses through all levels of baseball, our goal is to prepare them to compete at their highest potential. Whether a player aspires to make their Middle School or High School team, play in College or even professionally, our focus is on helping them achieve those goals.
Trusted Technology
Midland NF is dedicated to delivering a complete and seamless experience for the athlete and their families. Each player and parent/guardian gains access to the Midland App which provides player-specific workout programs, scheduling info, messaging and more. PLUS, upon joining Midland NF, each player receives a Blast Motion Bat Sensor, gaining real-time hitting analytics and insights.
National Pipeline
As a new local chapter to a national brand, Midland NF is uniquely positioned and proud to be part of a broad network of players, coaches and alumni. Beyond the state level, Midland has National teams across the 14u-18u age groups offering an even higher profile for top talent. Midland NF looks to make our mark in the state and beyond.
